Moving, Furniture, and Back Aches

Well Jacob and I couldn't stand NOT having any furniture for our family room-- so before our big move on Saturday (March 27), we went to Mathis Brothers and found these AWESOME leather pieces! They ended up delivering scheduling our furniture delivery on moving day, so Jacob and I decided that I would stay at the house with my mom, aunt and cousins to clean, while Jacob and my older cousins moved all our stuff from Mission Viejo to Murrieta. While I stayed home with my younger cousins and cleaned every nook and cranny we could, Jacob and my 2 older cousins drove to MV in the moving truck and moved. It took them all day to move-- I felt so bad that they had to do that cruddy work, but I'm glad that when they came back that evening, they could rest on our new furniture, while my other cousins and I unloaded the truck :) I should have taken more pictures of cleaning and moving, but it was so dark that evening, and my iphone camera isn't the best at night. Jacob and I ended up sleeping in our new place that night. Nothing felt better than lying down after a rough day

The chair on the far left is Jacob's chair, then next to that is the sofa, and to the right of that where my cousin is sitting is my chair (which is actually a recliner!!!), and next to mine right here on the front is Jacob's MAN CHAIR for his office. It looks pretty small. It's huge, but low to the ground.

Oh yeah, this is Oscar. He is Dan's dog. We babysat Oscar during moving day. Oscar is such a good little dog! He never barks, he loves EVERYone, and he is just so well-behaved! I want him to be mine... lol

It's Ours!

After many months of waiting, anxiety, and stress, we finally closed escrow on our home! the house on Manzanita street that we had our eye on back in September of 2009 is finally ours for good! We put an offer down early September, the previous owners accepted, the lenders FINALLY approved our loan in February 2010 (i think), and here we are with our keys! It feels good to be a homeowner. A long wait (because it was a short sale and all), but the wait was all worth it.

We now live in the beautiful city of Murrieta, California, located in the county of Riverside off the 15 freeway. I never thought I would ever live here-- I never imagined moving out here! But I fell in love with this place! And now it's SOLD! ... to US!
