Jacob and I have been trying for kids. I have PCOS so it isn't easy. I don't ovulate either. I started seeing this new ob-gyn. Her name is Dr. Safie. She is filipino, too. She seems a little young, so I am a little skeptical on how much she really knows, but I don't have anything to lose. She has been helping with getting me on track so I can get pregnant and have a healthy pregnancy. But of course, in order to do that I have to be healthy, too. Hence, all the blood work.
This morning before work, I had to go to the lab to take a 2 hour Glucose Tolerance test. I had some blood work done a few days ago and my fasting blood sugar was 139. It is suppose to be less than 100. Obviously, too high. So my doctor ordered for a glucose test to check if I have diabetes.
Jacob went with me to the lab. The lab tech drew my bloo and had me drink this nasty pure sugar thing in 5 minuntes. Then she had Jacob and me wait in the OTHER waiting room. It had recliners and a t.v.! Unlike the front waiting room that had uncomfortable chairs. I waited for an hour and then the lab lady drew my blood. Then I waited for another hour and she drew my blood again. I got to go home after that. This was not fun. I will get my results in a few days.

I had to take this test too. The juice stuff wasn't bad. But it wasn't that great either.
