So last night I made pumpkin log for the first time. I wanted to make some for my friend Emily Slusser- today is her birthday! So last night, after the pumpkin logs were made, I wrapped them up and put them in the fridge overnight.
This is what ours looked like (we made 2 logs).

Jacob and I drove to Emmy's house. In the 1 1/2 years we've lived here in Murrieta (only minutes away from Em), this was actually the first time we visited her! Sad, but true. It was a surprise visit. We were only meaning to drop off the pumpkin cookies and pumpkin log, but Emmy invited us in and we sat and talked for quite a while! This was also the first time we got to meet their baby boy (who's not so baby anymore), Dean! He just turned one! I don't have any pictures except for these that we took when we were leaving. :)

The sun was in our eyes. Mine especially...
