BOOTS!!!

So Jacob and I went to my parent's to pick up a few things... and look what he found in our old room!!! My cowboy boots!!! I need some black ones now... Also, I caught a cute picture of Bells falling asleep on Jacob

Happy Thanksgiving!

Jacob and I drove out to Orange County for Thanksgiving. We celebrated it at grandma's house like we always do. On our way up there, we drove through Ortega Hwy (like always) and pulled over on the lookout and took some pics. The view from up top is nice! That's Lake Elsinore though... not that nice lol...

Then off to my aunt's for some turkey!!! There was tons of food (the picture below doesn't do it justice since not everyone was there with their share of the potluck!)

Happy 27th Birthday

My husband turned 27 today! We celebrated on Sunday with my family! We had 2 trays of Lasagna (Jacob's FAVE!), lots of spaghetti, lots of egg rolls, pumpkin pie (another of Jacob's fave), red velvet cake, egg nog (Jacob's fave), pancit, and BBQ!!! It was great. I bought Jacob a Kenneth Cole peacoat he had his eye on a few weeks ago. Luckily, it was on sale! I wish I had pictures from the party... I think someone had a camera. I'll have to find out.

Happy birthday to my one and only. To the man who has had my heart since day one... the man who never ceases to amaze me and will do anything to keep me happy and smiling, my Mr. Nielsen. I love you, Jacob! You are my forever and ever

Abacus and Allergies

Last week I helped my cousin make an abacus (Chinese calculator thingy) for her project at school. Doing all that crafting made me miss making stuff so I decided to make an abacus for myself! And here it is...

Also, today I realized what is making me break out in hives... Here's the story:

The entire month of September (literally, THE WHOLE MONTH!) I was sick. I have not taken a day off since August, so even then in September, I went to work sick. My Nurse friend Tanya said I had mono. YUCK. By October, I was feeling better, but then I started getting random hives/rashes. I thought I had bed bugs! YUCK! Luckily, it wasn't/we don't have bed bugs! I realized that EVERY TIME I touch Bella or play with her, my hands and arms start to get itchy and eventually swell up. It isn't a great feeling :( I started getting these swells/hives in the beginning of October, which is also when we got Bella. It makes me sad... I had no idea I was allergic to anything (other than Prozac--yes, seriously, and nickel). If I had known I was allergic to Golden Retriever hair/dander, I wouldn't have gotten Be

lla in the first place... But now I am so attached to her. I LOVE her :(

So I am going to suck it up and deal with it. I don't touch her too much now, but I do play with her still :) So this picture is of me covered up in a blanket and pillows after taking Benadryl. I was absolutely sick and itchy and my upper lip was SO SWOLLEN my family was making fun of me and calling names. Funny and not funny.

I take Benadryl almost every night. I hope I eventually become immune to Bella. Having swollen hands HURTS!

Today I had lunch with three awesome ladies: Shannon, Sandy, and Shaundra. We all work together. Well, Shannon left last month, but we like to catch up here and there. Today we met up and had Thai food at Rice N Spice. Man, was it delicious! The four of us sat and talked and hung out for a while just like old times. We all used to sit in a cubicle together and had the best times! We decided to meet up more often and on days when we don't have work... You know, NORMAL days!

I Thought We Already Had It???

So I work at Cox Communications. I've worked here since October of 2007. Since last year, our company has been talking (within the company) about starting wireless. We already have cable, telephone, and internet. And now... as of today, November 19th, 2010, we are a wireless provider! Funny, because I thought we already started the wireless thing a few months ago! ...But that was just Cox testing out wireless with the employees. So yeah. yahoo. wireless. yippee. (I not interested unless they start offering the iPhone). ;)

So Cute!

I went to Michael's with my cousin Ceng, Liza, and Ceng's daughter, Aleila. We went to buy stuff for Liza's project. She had to make an abacus... and since I'm so into making stuff, I offered to help out! I was pretty excited, lol. Anyway, on our way to Michael's (in Foothill Ranch), we ended up driving behind this Jeep with 2 dogs. When the Jeep changed lanes, I told my cousin to speed up so we could be next to it! The dogs looked like Coco (Chocolate Labrador) and a grown-up Bella (golden retriever)! I had to take a picture... They were so cute!

Birthday and Pacquiao Fight!

Today was Grandma's and Aleila's birthday. We have several people in our family that share the same birthday-- Troy and Dan (Oct 23), Grandma and Aleila (Nov 13), and Daphne and Ceng (Jan 21). Anyway, We all met up at Asia Buffet. We celebrated my 25th birthday there last year. It was okay. Asia Buffet is getting overrated. We need to pick a different place! After our lunch buffet, we went back to grandma's and everyone hung out and cooked (for dinner). Then later that night we all got in the living room and sat and watched our Filipino boxer Manny "PacMan" Pacquiao versus Margarito! Pacquiao is shorter and weighs less than Margarito, but Pacquiao still kicked his butt! He owned EVERY round! Go Pacman!

Sweet Lil Bells

I spent the night at my grandma's house with my cousins. Jacob is out in Riverside again. I woke up with this little thing cuddle against me and the couch! She fell asleep at my feet and somehow made her way to on my side. I'm afraid I'm turning into a dog-lady!
