Above The Clouds

I drive the Ortega Highway to work every day. Today, as I was driving up from Lake Elsinore, I saw a blanket of clouds covering the entire city! I had to pull over at the look out and take a picture! (It's pretty high up)...

Yu Wan Hai-Lai?

Jacob and I went with my mom to Westminster (a.k.a. Vietnam). Jacob got a hair cut and I got some highlights. I only got highlights on the top of my head because if I get any more than that, I'll look like a chola. lol Yup, I said it! Helen did my hair. She's good! And she is nice. She did my hair way back when I was in high school. Yeah, a long time ago!

Lake Skinner

Today we went to Lake Skinner! I didn't realize we lived this close to a lake this big! It's so beautiful and calm there. I love the tranquility. I just wish we got a good spot to fish. Our last spot was nice because it was on a small cliff. But no bites today either.

Harveston Lake

Jacob and I went to Harveston Lake, which is just a couple streets down from our main street, Torrey Pines. Harveston is a cute little community in Temecula. I LOVE the little homes there. It's like a cute little stepford town lol... We fished but got nothing! Oh well... The views were still ahhhsome. haha

Date Night in Manhattan

Jacob and I went to Manhattan Delicatessen tonight for dinner. We always drive by it, and it looks cool from the outside, so we decided to check it out. Boy, it was empty in there. Probably because they were going to close in 40 minutes! Anyway, we sat and had a huge dinner! The atmosphere inside is kinda like Ruby's Diner with a New York touch (hence, "Manhattan"). The food is great and HUGE! If we had known the sandwiches were gonna be humongous, we would've shared one! I couldn't eat half of the sandwich because I got tired of eating roast beef/pastrami lol.... But I was in the mood for chocolate, so we also got dessert... and that was ginormous, too.

We couldn't finish dessert, either. *sigh*

Living Room...

So our living room (a.k.a. front room) has been blah. This last month has been nice in there since our Christmas Tree was standing by the window across from our couch. But now that the Christmas tree is down, we need the living room to be 'living'! We decided to buy some furniture today. Jacob and I found this store called The Alley. It was hidden in the back of one of the shopping centers-- I guess it lives up to it's name-- The Alley! Anyway, I found this table and showed Jacob and we both fell in love... with the table :) It's an old door that was converted into a table. It's normally $599, but we got it for a really good price! We went and bought some baskets and pillows, too. Who the heck buys baskets!? ...Adults do! haha... We also have been painting our living room. We got tired of that yucky light green paint so we painted over it! We wanted to do something neutral but not too boring... Here are a couple pics. Don't mind that frame on the couch. We forgot to put that away! We will be putting up some pictures on the walls so they don't look bare. :) Isn't that table pretty awesome!? I think so ;)
In the first pic, the front window is closed so that's why the room is dark!

Just Dance!

http://www.videogamesblogger.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/just-dance-2-wii-boxart.jpg
Jacob and I bought Just Dance 2 for our Wii. Not as cool as the Xbox Kinect, but we don't have an Xbox, so this is the next best thing :) My mom brought Aaron, Camille, and Joanna to our house to spend the night last night. It's so fun having family over. We played all night and all day. Here are pics of the kids dancing!

It's Our Day

I had the day off today. Jacob and I explored Murrieta. Actually, we just went to some stores: Home Goods, Pier 1 Imports, World Market, and this store in the back of this plaza that we never heard of or knew existed, called The Alley. Here are some pics of today...Masquerade at Pier 1 Imports... hehe
We went home from our gallivanting and found this:
Pooh-- lifeless, reaching for the light. Go to the light, Pooh. Go to the light.
Coco somehow got a hold of Bella's bear, Pooh, and murdered him! Poor Bella... she has no baby bear :( ...And poor Pooh! He got decapitated. We will have to find a replacement. But Pooh is just irreplaceable. hahaha

Goodbye Forever...

Last day in the garage. 1/10/2011

We sold the Jeep. We sold it to Jack from Ladera Ranch. He's an older man... old enough to be our dad. He plans on tearin it up and rebuilding it or whatever. That's fine. As long as SOMEone will drive the Jeep and take her out more than we did! Someone who'll appreciate it and not keep it in the garage like we did... Here's a look back at our Wrangler memories...
Above: The day we bought it! Jacob's first picture in his Jeep!

New tires. Shiny and big.

First Jeep wash

First bike rack - drive to San Clemente

First picture of US in the Jeep!

Coco's first ride in the Jeep... driving to the beach!

First trip to Dog Park
Jeep's first home and garage lol

Cousins...

Jacob and I went to Mission Viejo to pick up Bella from my aunt's house. We dropped her off there a couple days ago because my aunt was going to take her to the vet to get fixed. ...But because Bella had some complications in her blood, they are holding off on the spaying. But Bella has been a good girl! She loves her cousins Emma and Oscar (the wiener dog)! And when we finally got home (late), Bella rested on Jacob. Cute little puppy...
