Goodbye Sandy

My co-worker and friend, Sandy, left today. Today was her last day at work. She turned in her resignation 2 weeks ago. We were so sad to see her leave :( Her uncle Joe is really ill and she has been taking care of him so much... I think it created a ton of stress on top of work stress and home stress. She decided he was priority-- she can't be his caregiver AND work 45mins away from home and be gone for almost an entire day. I wouldn't be able to do that either!

Today we had a little get-together with cake and signed a huge 'card' for her :) Her work BFF (Shaundra) brought her balloons too. It's funny, for the last 2 years, they've been like 2 peas in a pod. They refer to each other as 'wife' because they're so close. They're not really gay, they just joke about it. But sometimes when the three of us go out, people think they really are gay lol. And then we joke about me being their foreign adopted child. HAHAHA Anyways, the balloons that were given to Sandy read "i love you" because there wasn't an "i miss you". lol Here are pics!
