Yesterday I took the day off. Jacob's been having cramping in his legs (same kind of cramping he gets as a sign of a blood clot). Last week we went to the urgent care. From there, they sent us to Health Scan Imaging for an ultra sound. Later that night the urgent care doctor called us and told us there were no signs of clotting. We were surprised. Relieved, but surprised. She recommended us to another doctor as our primary care provider. Well, that doctor is Dr. Basch.
We went to see Dr. Basch yesterday and he sent us to ER to do some tests. We drove to the ER and we were there from 5pm yesterday to 2-3am this morning! For blood tests, and x-rays and a CT scan, an ultrasound, lots of waiting in between each of those, and more waiting in an ER room. The outcome? They said no clots, but that he needed to be on Coumadin. What. the. hellO. This is what we have been telling them since our last trip to urgent care-- that whether or not Jacob has a blood clot, he still needs to be on LIFETIME COUMADIN per previous doctor's orders! But did they listen? Of course not. They suck. But I am glad we didn't have to admit him and I am glad it isn't another blood clot.
I love my husband. And I can't live without him

Dude. I hate the ER. Don't really know anyone who loves it, except the doctors, maybe. Happy to hear it there wasn't a clot. Keep on keepin on!
